Queen Elizabeth is not one to shy away from color, but her latest bold look is one we were not expecting. Britain’s monarch stepped out for a visit to Berkhamsted School on Friday in a bright pink outfit that has us smiling.

The Queen wore a printed knee-length dress and matching bright pink coat with thick white trim, reminiscent of the royal robes of yesteryear. Polishing off the look with a bold brimmed hat, white gloves, and her trusty Launer bag, Queen Elizabeth was a picture-perfect monarch on the sunny day.

The school invited her Majesty to celebrate its 475th anniversary and met with pupils, including a line of young cadets from the academy.

Turning 90 sure does look good on this hard-working royal.
