On Sunday, the bride and groom reaffirmed their devotion to one another at Umaid Bhawan Palace (the same location they held their Mehendi ceremony) — according to People. Rob Kim/Getty Images The publication reports that Chopra opted for red sari and Jonas wore a customary ensemble with a turban — a stark contrast to their Ralph Lauren designs for the Western wedding on Saturday. “It is super important to Priyanka to have an Indian ceremony that honors her heritage and culture, just as it’s important to also have a Western ceremony that honors Nick’s Christian upbringing,” a source recently told People. “They are doing both.” The actress and singer have slowly been sharing their journey to the alter on social media over the weekend. Chopra and Jonas both posted a series of snapshots from their Mehendi pre-wedding party, with the bride wearing a colorful embroidered gown with dramatic sleeves. We are wishing the newlyweds nothing but the best!
