Prints Hit the Red Carpet at the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards
Lupita! Rashida! Natalie! All three actresses chose to wear a bold print to the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards—and each of them made a serious style statement. Natalie Dormer (above left), of Game of Thrones, took a sweet approach to sporting a print, choosing a pastel gown with a floral-printed bodice by Naeem Khan. Lupita Nyong'o went a bit bolder in a double-printed number stamped with stripes and bright, multi-colored buds. Rashida Jones's print was more graphic. The actress opted for a black-and-white floral column with a turquoise-trimmed neckline by Emanuel Ungaro.
Wearing a print on the red carpet is a style risk and all three actresses pulled it off with ease. What makes Lupita's look even more risky is the long sleeve silhouette—being covered in so much print can be tricky, but Lupita's simple hair and makeup allowed the eye-grabbing gown to take center stage.
