Is to-die-for hair a pre-requisite for being a royal? Because Princess Sofia of Sweden, like more of our fave royals (Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and Queen E included), has got some A-plus locks.

To celebrate the royal’s 34th birthday on Thursday, the Swedish Royal Court shared a beautiful solo portrait of the princess on its official Instagram.

In the stunning photo, taken by photographer Erika Gerdemark, Princess Sofia is beaming in a cream sweater and a pair of black trousers. Now, the mom-of-two always looks particularly radiant, but her hair totally stole the show. Honestly, get this lady a Pantene contract, stat.

Much like another famous royal we know, Princess Sofia had a past career in entertainment, working both as a model and a reality TV contestant on Paradise Hotel in 2005, according to People. She was welcomed as an official member of the royal family in June 2015 when she married Prince Carl Philip, 39, son of King Carl XVI and Queen Silvia.

Princess Sofia’s entrance into the royal family was anything but smooth, as she encountered online harassment early on in her relationship with Prince Carl Philip.

“I was met with an enormous hate storm from people who had opinions about me as a person, about my relationship,” she revealed during an interview with Sweden’s TV4. “I was surprised and it definitely affected me. I didn’t understand that people had such need to express how badly they felt about me. It was very tough.”

Since the painful experience, she and her husband have been working to fight hate speech and online bullying with the Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia Foundation, which they founded after their wedding.

The couple just celebrated their third wedding anniversary this past summer and have been busy raising their two sons, two-year-old Prince Alexander and one-year-old Prince Gabriel.

We hope that this year will be your best one yet, Princess Sofia!
