It looks like little Prince Alexander is going to be a big brother!

Just 11 months after welcoming their firstborn last spring, Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip, Duchess and Duke of Värmland, have announced that they are excited to be expecting a second bundle of joy in September 2017.

In an official statement, the royal couple said, "We are happy to announce that we are expecting a child, a sibling to Prince Alexander. We are looking forward to welcoming a new little member to our family."

Since son Prince Alexander Erik Hubertus Bertil's arrival in April, the photogenic par and their simultaneously adorable and stylish tot have shown off their little one's budding fashion sense by giving #RoyalFamilyGoals a whole new meaning with aw-inducing portrait after portrait of the tiny royal.

While there is no word at this time on whether the happy pair are expecting a boy or girl, we're sure little Alex will be taking his big brother responsibilities very seriously!
