Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3, may have fancy royal titles and live at Kensington Palace, but aside from those distinct differences, they're just like all other kids.
The siblings demonstrated their similarities to the average toddler while blissfully playing, rather than watching, dad Prince William compete in the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy match in Gloucester, England on Sunday.
During the daytime event, George and Charlotte stole the show as they ran through the grass playing tag, hopped over wooden beams, and figured out how exactly a slinky can provide entertainment.
Mom Kate Middleton sat on the sidelines, wearing a striped blue-and-white dress from Zara ($70, zara.com) and espadrille sandals. Her chestnut locks were partially pulled back by a pair of sunglasses atop her head, while a simple silver watch and her sparkling engagement ring elevated the casual weekend look.
Meanwhile, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were in proper play clothes. A pink floral dress paired with bare feet completed Charlotte's attire, and the future King of England wore his signature shorts, a navy blue polo, and comfy sneakers.
Also in attendance? George and Charlotte's seven-year-old cousin Savannah Phillips, who stole the show at yesterday's Trooping the Colour when she placed a hand over George's mouth while singing "God Save the Queen" and shushed him multiple times during his fits of excitement.
Kids will be kids, right?
