Princess Beatrice's Wedding Will Have One Very Special Guest
A friend confirmed the VIP's attendance.
There's a royal wedding on the way and People confirmed that Princess Beatrice's ceremony will have a different kind of VIP: Very Important Pageboy. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's son is expected to be a part of the wedding party, making for a sweet sentiment from the blended families.
"He is very much part of their life," Beatrice’s friend said of her relationship with her future stepson. "Beatrice has embraced the child as part of her life from the outset."
Mozzi shares his son, born in 2016, with his ex-girlfriend, Dara Huang, an architect and designer. Huang splits her time between London and Hong Kong and released a statement after Beatrice and Mozzi announced their engagement: "I wish the best for Edo and Beatrice and look forward to uniting our families."
People's source adds that Beatrice would like children of her own and has seen what a great dad Mozzi is. "Edo is easily one of the best dads, he is so involved," Beatrice's friend explained. "Beatrice is already showing that she’s a fantastic step-mummy. They’ve been on family vacations together [with his son]. They are really happy."
Beatrice and Mozzi are set to tie the knot on May 29. The location has yet to be announced, though People confirmed that the reception will be held at Buckingham Palace. Beatrice's sister, Eugenie, had a notable pageboy, as well. That royal wedding featured Prince George as a pageboy and his sister, Princess Charlotte, performing bridesmaid duties back in 2018.
