Suspicious! Was the pause William’s way of correcting himself, realizing that he made a royal mistake in revealing the baby’s sex? Or is it a girl, and his pause reflects the need to throw in “Jackie” and deflect rumors that it’s a boy?
We’ll have to wait to find out.
Kate’s reported due date is April 23, but the folks over at Buckingham Palace are getting it together and preparing to welcome this royal child. Preparations are evidently in place, meaning it’s baby fever over in Queen Elizabeth’s land.
According to People, this baby’s birth is such a big deal that bookmakers across the pond are taking bets on the name. For boys, the most popular names are Albert and Arthur, while the name Philip (William’s grandfather is Prince William) is also up there. If it’s a girl, Alice and Mary hit the top spot.
One thing’s for sure: the child won’t be named George or Charlotte.
