Prince Harry Revved His Engine for a Solo Visit Ahead of His Departure From Royal Life
He's speeding up to a departure from royal duties at the end of March.
Prince Harry had a bit of unfinished business to take care of in the royal engagement department before he completely exits his royal post.
That's why he headed out on his own for some time on the town by his lonesome to tie up a few loose ends before he and Meghan Markle step down from their royal roles on March 31.
So the Duke of Sussex headed out on a few solo trips, teaming up with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton to check out the new immersive museum The Silverstone Experience, meant to explore the past, present, and future of the racing industry in Britain.
On Friday morning (March 6), Harry arrived in a Mercedes (driven by six-time world champ Hamilton, no less) as he rolled up to the sprawling new complex. He was joined by F1 drivers Alex Albon and George Russell for the ride.Harry opted for a professional yet casual look with a navy blue button-down shirt and olive slacks for the occasion.
The Silverstone Experience documented Harry's appearance there with a quick video clip.
"We are very excited to have the Duke of Sussex and Lewis Hamilton at the official opening of The Silverstone Experience museum today," the museum captioned the post.
Following whatever solo trips Harry has planned, he and Meghan will be settling down for their new life in Canada. It's certainly a time of change for both of them, though there will likely still be plenty of reasons to get excited about what they're up to next, even during what promises to be a particularly quiet period.
