Prince Harry Shows Off His Rugby Moves for a Good Cause
Prince Harry's smile gets us every time ... as does his eagerness to participate in charitable events and with humanitarian causes. As the royal joined a group of kids in Stockport, England for a rugby skills workshop Tuesday, it was clear he was enjoying the festivities as he flashed his pearly whites while showing off his skill in the sport.
Looking dapper in a white, rolled-up collared shirt and jeans, the royal was beaming as he demonstrated some moves during the community rugby program, which was supported by the Rugby Football Union. Following his appearance, Kensington Palace released a statement saying the prince "continues to develop his involvement in initiatives that use the power of sport for social development."
The Palace added, "Today's event was run by StreetGames, which offers accessible and interactive sports opportunities for harder to reach communities across the UK." Harry has made it no secret that he likes to combine sports with his humanitarian efforts. Prior to his rugby-playing day, Harry cheered on his good friend, a double-amputee sportsman, and more winners in May at the Paralympic-style Invictus Games, which he founded in 2014 for wounded and injured veterans.
