Meghan Markle Reportedly Caused Tension Between Prince Harry and Prince William

Hurricane “acquired taste” Meghan has seemingly caused quite the stir in the royal family of late.

With the recent announcement of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s plans to move out of Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage (which is the opposite of a cottage, btw), the rumor mill has been working overtime, generating some (not unconvincing) theories about tension between the Duchess of Sussex and her sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

Now it seems that the “tension” is not exclusive to the royals-by-marriage. According to royal reporter Katie Nicholl, the true problem lies with Prince William and Harry.

Conflict arose around this time last year, when the newly engaged Harry took issue with William’s treatment of his wife-to-be. A mutual friend of both princes told Vanity Fair, “Harry felt William wasn’t rolling out the red carpet for Meghan and told him so. They had a bit of a fall out which was only resolved when Charles stepped in and asked William to make an effort. That’s when the Cambridges invited the Sussexes to spend Christmas with them.”

Space is important for any family though, right? Maybe Harry and Meghan’s move will usher in a new era of familiar camaraderie? Fingers crossed!
