Prince Harry Braves the Rain for a Charity Polo Match in Florida
Not even a downpour could keep Prince Harry off the polo field. The royal arrived in Florida yesterday ahead of the Invictus Games, but before heading to Orlando he stopped by the Valiente Polo Farm in Wellington, FL for a polo match to benefit his charity Sentebale.
Facing off against two teams, one helmed by Harry's pal and Sentebale ambassador Nacho Figuera, the prince took the soggy field with a smile on his face. Despite the less than ideal conditions, Prince Harry and his team, Sentebale ISPS Handa, were victorious, beating out Figueras’ Royal Salute, and the third team, Valiente.
The next stop on Prince Harry's Florida tour: Orlando. The royal will make his way north for the Invictus Games, where wounded veterans from around the world will compete in everything from volleyball to wheelchair basketball. Will his winning streak on the polo field extend to Britain's Invictus Games team? If the Obamas and Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have anything to do with it, we expect some fierce competition.
