Prince George knows just how to melt our hearts. The adorable 3-year-old royal bid farewell to Canada on Saturday and made us wish he never had to leave in the process.

The future king had been enjoying an eight-day tour of Canada with mom Kate Middleton, dad Prince William, and little sister Princess Charlotte, even blessing us with photos from a fun-filled playdate on Thursday. George waited until Saturday, though, to give us the cutest photos we’ve seen yet.

On the last day of the tour, the 3-year-old left Victoria, Canada, in a small seaplane, waving to onlookers as he said goodbye to the country in a navy sweater, red shorts, and knee-high socks. George pressed his nose against the window to watch as the aircraft lifted off from the ground water. The toddler looked too cute, smushing his face against the glass as he wore a familiar pair of noise-cancelling headphones for the flight.
