In classic Kardashian fashion, Kourtney Kardashian announced a major personal life event to her sister and a not-so-intimate audience of millions last night. On the latest episode of Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons, the family shared a home video filmed by Kim Kardashian which showed Kourtney revealing that she was having a boy. Mason came running in with a stick with a blue star (to indicate a male sibling) and presented it to the group. “I’m so happy we’re having a boy,” Kourtney said upon finding out the baby's sex. “It’s going to be perfect for our family.”
Kourtney already has two children Mason, 5, and Penelope, 2, with longtime boyfriend Scott Disick. However, some people may be less than thrilled with the new addition to the family. After it was revealed that his new sibling is a boy, Mason said, "I wanted a girl." But wise Aunt Khloé pointed out that he would have a lot more interests with a younger brother than a sister. "Girls don't like aliens and Lego guys. When you have a brother you can say 'Look at all my Lego guys, brother.' You get to be rough and you can boss him around because you're the older one."
The eldest Kardashian sister, who is due to give birth later this month, recently showed off her baby bump in a nude photo shoot. “What appeals to me is celebrating the shape of my body being pregnant and capturing that time in my life,” she tells DuJour. “I’m at my best when I’m pregnant.”
