It’s been a whirlwind two days since news broke that Ariana Grande and Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson (who started dating approximately 30 seconds ago) have gotten engaged.

Everyone has a hot take on the rapid romance, including (as you can imagine), the duo’s respective exes.

Both parties recently split with their longtime partners—Grande from boyfriend of nearly two years Mac Miller, and Davidson from Cazzie David (daughter of Larry), whom he dated on-and-off for about two years beginning in spring 2016.

Prior to Pete’s relationship with David, he dated stand-up comedian and Girl Code cast member Carly Aquilino.

On Monday (the day the engagement reports surfaced), the 27-year-old posted an Instagram story that fans are convinced alluded to her ex’s recent engagement.

Aquilino took a screenshot of a text reading, “I know I’m the 9 billionth person to text you about this, but … I can’t,” to which she replied, “HAHHAHAHAAH.”

“My day in a text message,” Aquilino wrote across the photo.

According to E!, the post was added “just hours” after the engagement news began to circulate.

David seemingly referenced Davidson’s new relationship with an Instagram she posted in early June, writing, “Been in Africa, what’d I miss ??”

On the day of the engagement reports, David posted a photo of herself cozying up to a glass of red wine: “Came to wine country a person, leaving a human bottle of wine”—however, it seems the photo was posted before the reports gained traction.

Now the real question is, will Davidson and Grande pull a Prince Harry and invite their exes to the wedding? Stay tuned.
