For anyone in desperate need of inspiration for their next manicure, your search is now over, because the 2020 Oscars red carpet celebrity nail art was out of this world.

Cynthia Erivo's manicure was a straight up work of art. Manicurist Gina Oh treated her nails like canvases, creating nail art inspired by Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night" painting to symbolize Harriet Tubman following the North Star to freedom. She used nine (!!) Christian Louboutin nail collection products for the design.

The Joker star is another celeb that embraced the French manicure on the red carpet. Nail artist Betina Goldstein gave the retro nail design a 2020 twist by creating pointy black tips instead of white. She chose Chanel's Ballerina for the base and Pure Black for the tips.
