But let's start with the back first. Oscars nominees Saoirse Ronan (in Calvin Klein Collection) and Rachel McAdams (in August Getty Atelier) shared more than an affinity for the color emerald—when they turned, their dresses were scandalously cut all the way downtothere. And they weren't the only ones to bring sexy back—A-listers, including Rooney Mara, Chrissy Teigen, Olivia Wilde, and Charlize Theron, alll showcased open backs. Wilde's square-cut plunging neckline was courtesy of Valentino Haute Couture, while Theron slipped into a siren-red sternum-baring Dior Haute Couture creation. In the end, it was really a question of: How low can you go? And, well, these stars answered it.
