Last night during the 85th Academy Awards, InStyle polled our readers in a variety of categories to have you decide which stars rocked the red carpet the best. And the results are in! Best Beauty Look:It was a close tie between Best Actress nominee Jessica Chastain and Reese Witherspoon (only 1% separated the two), but Witherspoon's loose Hollywood waves earned her the most votes at 26%.
Most Fabulous Over 40 Star:While every lady looked stunning in this category, Jennifer Aniston ruled the red carpet with her sleek layered 'do and strapless red Valentino gown, earning her 23% of the votes.
Best Beaded and Black Dress:Black beaded dresses were one of the biggest trends of the night. And according to you, Sandra Bullock rocked her Elie Saab dress. The actress received 62% of the votes.
Most Dapper Host:This year's host Seth MacFarlane won the most stylist host from the last five years. The funnyman (who wore Gucci) brought in 32% of the votes.
Cutest Red Carpet Couple:Ben Affleck not only brought home an Academy Award for Best Picture for Argo, he and wife Jennifer Garner are also InStyle's cutest red carpet couple! The dynamic duo received 42% of the votes.
Most Glamorous Waves:No contest here! Reese Witherspoon's gorgeous waves received an overwhelming majority of the votes with 67% of readers choosing her golden locks.
Nominee Readers Were Most Excited to See:48% of you were most excited to see what Jennifer Lawrence would wear on the red carpet , and the night's Best Actress winner didn't disappoint! Lawrence stunned in a strapless Dior Haute Couture design.
Most Popular Accessory:We asked our readers to predict the most popular accessory—and they were right! Necklaces received 32% of the votes, and Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence both made a statement in backward necklaces.
