This year's Oscars will get a breath of fresh air (along with a few laughs), thanks to their new host, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. "It's truly an overwhelming privilege to be asked to host the Oscars," the 38-year-old said in a statement. "My thoughts upon hearing the news were, one, I will do my utmost to live up to the high standards set forth by my predecessors; and two, I hope they don't find out I hosted the Charlie Sheen Roast." In addition to masterminding TV's Family Guy and American Dad, MacFarlane is the man behind the box-office smash Ted, which starred Mark Wahlberg alongside a talking teddy bear. The 85th Annual Academy Awards will air February 24, 2013 on ABC. The question on everyone's mind: Will he take his signature brand of raunchy humor to the Oscar stage?
