Since her days starring opposite Lauren Conrad on The City, Olivia Palermo has successfully picked up a super hot beau, Johannes Huebl, front row seats at haute couture Valentino shows, and a knack for consistently catching the attention of street style photographers. Now, the multi-hyphenate talent has taken her entrepreneurial spirit up a notch for a yearlong collaboration with Nordstrom's in-house cool-girl label, Chelsea 28, WWD reports.
Set to debut in February, the collection will be priced between $68 and $448 and includes covetable staples like high-waisted trousers, oxblood leather skirts, and denim culottes. "It has a little bit of a Seventies feel, but it's modern and with a French touch," Palermo told WWD. "I want the girl to figure it out and style it how she wants."
The fashionable star has of course collaborated with megawatt brands like Aquazzura before, but this one feels especially exciting. "I'm thrilled to be partnering with @nordstrom to design their Chelsea 28 collection for the next year! #staystylish #lovethenordstromteam," she wrote as the caption to the above Instagram shot. "Everybody loves a basic, but then you elevate the basic," she added.
Her ultimate style rule? "I always say it's not about how much something costs. If it's good, it's good."
