Olivia Palermo Is Designing a Shoe Collection, and You're Going to Love It!

Olivia Palermo has become an epic street style star due to her chic ways of styling outfits and accessorizing. And now she's applying those skills toward developing her own line of sexy footwear in the form of a six-piece collaboration with Italian label Aquazzura. "I created a line for stylish girls who appreciate the craftsmanship of well-made pieces," Palermo tells InStyle. “Accessories are so important in honing your look, and these are for the girls who want to feel fabulous and confident. These shoes will make women feel special."

That's why she added unique O.P.-only touches when teaming with Aquazzura's creative director, Edgardo Osorio. For example, her own ornate necklace inspired her to sparkle up the T-strap (sketch pictured above) because she "thought it would add something special." Her other styles includes a sexy over-the-knee boot (sketch pictured below) that's "perfect for fall to winter," a black ankle boot ("an all-around look that goes with jeans, a skirt, or shorts," Palermo says), and stilettos ("clean and sexy for a go-to," she says).

Her secret to design? Trusting her instincts. "There is really no science to it," she says. "What feels right for me is what I go with. I dress in things that inspire me."
