Munn has been cast to play Betsey Braddock, aka Psylocke, in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. The film's director, Bryan Singer, announced the big casting news on Instagram with the message, "Excited to welcome Olivia Munn as Betsey Braddock!" Apocalypse, which follows up last year's X-Men: Days of Future Past, is set for a May 2016 release. Munn joins a star-studded cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult.
