But while the actress definitely had a team of hair and makeup pros on hand to help ("I had amazing people that I just trust. We’re so close now that whatever they do, I’m down with that,” she told us), it’s her positive spirit that we think allows her to shine on the red carpet. “I love that it’s pretty ballsy to do a dress like this,” she told InStyle. “The shape is kind of adventurous. This is the place to wear things that are daring. Maybe not for some people. For me, this is like stepping out of my comfort zone.” Rush went on to explain that she has no regrets in the style department and lives by two simple rules that anyone can also abide by.
