Move over, Serena van der Woodsen. There's a new super chic lady on the Upper East Side and her name is Amal Clooney. The new wife to George Clooney and human rights lawyer was spotted not once, but twice out on the town in the Manhattan neighborhood over the weekend.
On Friday night, while on New York's Upper East Side, Amal stepped out in a white Giambattista Valli wool coat, a black hat, black suede ankle boots, and leather leggings, with a Giambattista Valli leopard-print leather “Valli Bag.” It's a more casual, but still highly sophisticated look for Amal.
And then Saturday was date night for the newlyweds. The couple were photographed leaving Japanese restaurant Kappo Masa, also on the Upper East Side. Amal wore another fabulous coat, this time a bold yellow shade with a floral miniskirt while her dapper man sported jeans with a navy coat.
Her fashionable frocks followed the announcement that she would join Columbia University this spring as a visiting faculty member and as a senior fellow with the Law School's Human Rights Institute. Clooney is reportedly about to start filming the movie Monster Money with Julia Roberts in the city so it seems that we may be seeing a lot more of this fantastic couple in the Big Apple.
