Wes Gordon is a designer beloved by so many, like Anne Hathaway, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Gwyneth Paltrow. And for good reason, too—he has created pieces that are at once both sophisticated and playful, timeless and on-trend. With New York Fashion Week fall/winter 2015 shows rapidly approaching, we got up close and personal with the designer, and had him answer a quick and intimate survey of questions that delve into his new collection (no spoilers, promise) and his personal life—that takes all of 10 seconds to read. We timed it.

What word describes your fall/winter 2015 collection? Texture

What are you listening to right now? FKA twigs, Wolf Alice, and Angel Haze

Where did you go in preparation for your fall/winter 2015 collection? I went to Nicaragua at the beginning of January to relax and clear my head before the chaos of creating the new collection.
