Mr. Robot stars Rami Malek and Christian Slater took a break from filming the USA Network show's much-anticipated second season and headed to Austin for South by Southwest. One of the festivals most-talked-about sights? The 11-story fully operational Ferris wheel that USA set up on a street corner to mimic Mr. Robot's now-famous first episode. We caught up with the stars, fresh off a spin on the ride, to talk about what was really going on in that iconic Coney Island scene.

"Truth is, we were eating Twinkies while we were filming, but you couldn't see that on camera," says Malek. "That bag of Twinkies from Gristedes didn't make it into the final cut." The scene, filmed in New York's Coney Island, was also a testament to their characters' chemistry. "That was the first scene that we filmed together, so to get on that Ferris wheel at Coney Island was kind of a nice way to kick things off," added Slater. "And South by Southwest was the first place we actually screened the pilot, so to be able to come back here and give everyone a fun ride is great."

Mr. Robot returns this summer for its second season.
