Actress, model, and mom Molly Sims isn't a big shopper, but she definitely has her moments. "I kind of do it a couple times a year. It’s not like I go every month and browse. I’m kind of a two big days a year [person]," she tells InStyle.com. "I’m not a huge sale person because I always think, 'am I buying it because it’s on sale or am I buying it because I love it?' I have to really love it before I buy."

That being said, she's always thrilled to find a deal. "But listen, I freakin’ love a discount," says the star, who will be co-hosting Super Saturday, a couture garage sale to raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, in Los Angeles on Saturday. "I never met an outlet mall I didn’t like."

When it comes to beauty, you'll find her experimenting much more often. After all, she's a frequent makeup and style blogger, and earlier this year she underwent a huge hair change when she she swapped her blond locks for a vibrant auburn. And if her glowing complexion is any indication, she's quite the makeup expert.

What's in her makeup bag during the summer months? While there's more moisture in the air than in the winter, the sun makes it important to keep yourself hydrated inside and out. Sims is head over heals with Caudalie Divine Oil ($49; caudalie.com) for her skin. "It’s this amazing oil spray that smells so good. I love it for summer," she tells InStyle.com. And naturally, SPF protection from the sun is also vital. For adults, she's a fan of EltaMD sunscreen ($23 to $48; dermstore.com). And for her 2-year-old son, Brooks? "I love the MD Moms sunscreen, which has great wipes for your baby" ($26; mdmoms.com). For her hair, she swears by It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product ($12; ulta.com): "It’s a leave-in conditioner. I always take a travel size, especially in the summer when I’m in the ocean or in the pool. It’s the best detangler—ever." And she keeps her lips hydrated with Hourglass Nº 28 Lip Treatment Oil ($42; hourglasscosmetics.com). "Lip oil is always so good. It’s a little bit expensive but it’s great," she says.
