Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings made Olympic history last night! The dynamic duo beat fellow Americans Jennifer Kessy and April Ross to take home the gold medal in women’s beach volleyball for the third consecutive time. Their winning moments are always emotional, as seen above—from left at Beijing in 2008, center in London in 2012, and right in Athens in 2004—as well as meaningful, with the pair wearing matching necklaces throughout the competition. “Kerri wore her Me & Ro Love & Om pendant when they won the gold medal in Beijing,” Me & Ro designer Robin Renzi told “She wanted special pieces for this Olympics. When Kerri came to the studio I was showing her everything, but she didn’t want to look at the silver line. She said ‘I only want gold. I need to win.’” And win they did!
