On Thursday evening at a bash hosted by InStyle and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association at Catch in Los Angeles, it was announced that actor Sylvester Stallone and model Jennifer Flavin’s three daughters—20-year-old Sophia, 18-year-old Sistine, and 14-year-old Scarlet—have earned the coveted title of Miss Golden Globe 2017. Each year, the child of a high-profile member of the entertainment industry is appointed Miss (or Mr.) Golden Globe. The honoree tends to be an aspiring actor or actress, eager to attend the ceremony and hand each Golden Globe-winner their statuette. History has shown that the role often predicts a bright career ahead—Melanie Griffith, Laura Dern, and Freddie Prinze, Jr. held the title in 1975, 1982, and 1996, respectively. This year, however, makes Golden Globe history. It’s the first time in the 54 years since the tradition began that the title of Miss Golden Globe has gone to more than one person—in this case, three! 5 Precious Father-Daughter Moments from the 2016 Golden Globes On his decision to honor three worthy up-and-comers, President of the HFPA Lorenzo Soria said, “Each of the lovely young women in the triad have had success, whether it be in academics, sports, or pursuing a modeling career. With being raised by such role models Sylvester and Jennifer, we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for these ladies.” Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet will wear the historic honor well. Stallone and Flavin’s middle daughter, Sistine, takes after her bombshell mom—she’s signed to IMG Models and has starred in campaigns for big-ticket brands like Express and worked with iconic photographers like Arthur Elgort. Sistine’s sporty 14-year-old sister, Scarlet, already has an acting credit to her name, and big sis Sophia is working on a communications major at the University of Southern California.
