Did we just step foot onto the set of Stranger Things? It certainly felt that way when we entered a dim, cool cavernous show space (right off the West Side Highway) with nothing but a heap of rusted antique cars stacked in the middle. Destruction—a sign of The Upside Down, right? And then Eleven, we mean the adorable Millie Bobby Brown, walked in. A second later, '90s style icon Winona Ryder (and onscreen mom to Will Byers). They were both guests of creative director Stuart Vevers of Coach to sit front row at the brand's spring 2017 show during New York Fashion Week on Thursday, and it felt like we were witnesses to an impromptu mini reunion as they saw each other, hugged, and started chatting away.

"The cast was so much fun to work with, especially being around Winona and the boys," Brown said to us later. "It was a lot of fun."

It turns out, it was Brown's first-ever fashion show (we should've guessed—the girl is 12 years old, after all). "It's not at all overwhelming," she says, not fazed by the crowd of photographers, aka the wall of flashing bulbs, in front of us. "It's such an amazing experience. I love it."

For the occasion, Brown chose to wear a mixed-print prairie floral dress that she toughened up with a pink satin bomber, a hot pink purse, and black patent boots—all by Coach, of course. "I love that it's feminine, but there's a bit of punk to it," she explains. "Just like my style."

Meanwhile, Ryder chose to tap her playful side with a T. Rex-featured knit that she styled with sensible black pants, a black holdall, and brogues.
