Milla Jovovich's Daughter Ever Landed a Huge Role With Disney

Think of a wonderful thought, any happy little thought. It doesn't get much more wonderful than landing a role in a Disney feature film — and that's what Milla Jovovich's daughter, Ever Gabo Anderson, just did. According to People, Anderson will portray Wendy in the studio's upcoming live-action remake of Peter Pan. Originally released in 1953, the animated film is the latest classic to get the remake treatment after huge releases such as 2017's Beauty and the Beast, the upcoming Little Mermaid, and this year's Mulan.

"We can finally talk about @evergaboanderson’s secret projects," Jovovich wrote on Instagram. "… After a worldwide search, she’s been cast as Wendy in @disney’s new live action Peter and Wendy movie!! We’re so proud of our baby! Ever has been wanting to act since she was 5 and she’s put the time, focus and energy into making her dream come true! Congratulations Ever!!"

Peter Pan won't be Anderson's first film credit. She'll be seen in the upcoming Black Widow, where she portrays a younger version of Scarlett Johansson's titular superhero. And even before that, she appeared as a younger version of her mom's character, Alice, during a flashback sequence in 2016's Resident Evil sequel.

"I wouldn’t let [Ever] come to set when the zombies were around because I didn’t want her to have nightmares," Jovovich's husband, director Paul W.S. Anderson, who directed Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, told People back in 2010. "But she’s certainly enjoyed coming around all the sets, and she’s very much growing up as a kind of movie child."
