Move over, Mariah Carey, take a seat, Kacey Musgraves, Miley Cyrus is coming for Christmas with a would-be classic of her own. While Carey may be the undisputed queen of Christmas and Musgraves seems to have cornered the market on melancholy holiday tunes, Cyrus's latest song, just released on SoundCloud, could be exactly what anyone with a holiday-related broken heart needs. Called, fittingly, "My Sad Christmas Song" is a previously unreleased song that Cyrus wrote years ago.

Lyrics include, "I turn on the radio / I binge watch our favorite shows / This year feels kind of lame / But the last one was the same." No holiday cheer, no decorations, no jingle bells. Cyrus told her Twitter followers that while most people think that they should feel a certain way during the holidays, it's fine if things don't fit into the gingerbread-man shaped mold.

"If you feel lonely this season just know YOU ARE COMPLETELY MADE OF MAGIC," she tweeted. "You are as special as a snowflake, beautifully unique, and I hope inside your soul feels light, hope, peace, and joy knowing how singularly amazing YOU are! Love always wins!"

The tune is already a hit with fans, who responded to her message with words of support and telling her how much the message is resonating with them. It's not just meaningful for listeners dealing with relationship problems, people who have lost their friends and family are also letting Cyrus know they love the message.
