Miley Cyrus Blew Reese Witherspoon's Mind with a Hannah Montana Fact

As the self-isolation rolls on, so does Miley Cyrus's daily Instagram talk show, Bright Minded: Live With Miley. Today's episode featured Reese Witherspoon and during the chat, which involved everything from home décor and pet ownership (Cyrus showed off her new German shepherd mix, Bo, short for Rainbow) to a fun fact that architecture buffs may already know.

As their chat wound down, Cyrus dropped a specific fun fact that made Witherspoon's jaw drop: "I don't know if you knew that Madeline Martha Mackenzie and Hannah Montana lived in the same house maybe even at the same time," she said. She held up a side-by-side photo that showed a house familiar to both Big Little Lies fans and Hannah Montana die-hards. The house is, in fact, the same house, only it looks like the Stewart family had sunshades installed on their deck and the Mackenzies either retracted them or took them off.

Cyrus may have gotten the info from Twitter user @lanadirty, who posted the side-by-side in response to one of her own tweets.

Cyrus added another layer of intrigue to the story, saying that Witherspoon's Madeline Martha Mackenzie may have been housing a secret pop star.

"So there might be a plot here that you actually had a roommate," she added. "That you actually live with Hannah Montana."

"Oh my God, I knew I knew that house from somewhere," Witherspoon responded.

"We live in the same house so plot twist Madeline Mackenzie and Hannah Montana are roomies," Cyrus concluded. That's that.

Daily Mail adds that the beachfront Malibu property has been in a slew of shows, including Diagnosis Murder, Models Inc., and Columbo.
