It's no secret that Miley Cyrus circa "Malibu" is miles away from her twerking, tongue-wagging Bangerz persona that she exuded just four years ago. And, the star's mom, Trish, and sister, Brandi, have some ideas about the songstress's newfound happiness.

While promoting the pair's new Bravo series Cyrus Vs. Cyrus: Design and Conquer in an interview with E! News, Brandi revealed that the former Disney alum's priorities have dramatically changed in recent years. "Something I really respect about Miley is that she really does truly know what's important and what matters," she said. "And that doesn't mean overworking herself and being on tour all year anymore."

As for "what matters" to the young starlet, Brandi cited the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker's focus on family, fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, and "making the music she really loves" with contentment. "I think that's something that comes with age when you start to realize that and she's there and that's why I think she's so happy," she said.

Miley's mom, Tish, also chimed in, admitting that she "cannot be more obsessed" with her daughter's Australian beau and has enjoyed watching her daughter's music evolve over the years. "I think Miley is so real and every stage you see her in is truly the stage of her life that she's in," she told the news outlet. "She's in such a great place, so happy, and I think the music really reflects that."

If the dreamy ballad "Malibu" is anything to go by, we're more excited than ever for another sampling of the pop star's new sound in her upcoming album.
