The duo behind the iconic fashion house received the honor of the Superstar Award, which was presented to them by none other than Miley Cyrus. "I thought it was really nice that they honored us both!" Duffy told InStyle.com. "We just had our 30-year anniversary in March, and it was just really sweet of them to do that, because it's usually just Marc getting the award." Hosted by Simon Doonan at New York City's Cipriani Wall Street, attendees were treated to a lavish dinner as additional honorees like Angela Missoni, Alexander Wang, Christopher Kane, and more, accepted their well-deserved awards. The biggest surprise of the night came when Aretha Franklin took the stage to perform a showstopping rendition of "Respect," and while it was a tough act to follow, Cyrus held the crowd's attention with her thoughtful words -- not to mention her gorgeous mermaid-esque Marc Jacobs number. "I think it’s important to find people that are not scared to believe in someone that’s rebellious, and Robert really is all this to Marc," she said in her speech. "It’s amazing to be a part of it and watch, and they have continued to inspire me." Click the photo to see more from the event, and to go inside more star-studded parties!
