Michelle Obama's First-Ever China Trip Is Off to a Stylish Start
It's a lot of firsts for the First Lady this week! Michelle Obama headed east for her first-ever independent trip to China, stopping in Beijing to deliver her first major speech at Peking University in Beijing on Saturday, March 22 -- and she chose to go a little bit artistic with her outfit for the occasion.
Obama went with a multicolored abstract-print silk Carolina Herrera dress, which spoke to her playful nature while treading on the safe side. There's no debate here—it's clear that Obama's style reads impeccable even overseas. Next up on the First Lady's agenda is a tour of famous sites in cities Xi'an and Chengdu, and we're expecting to see a series of on-point looks along the way.
