The First Lady always manages to catch our eye with her ladylike but still on-trend fashion choices, and this occasion was no different. For the ceremony, which was held at the White House, the FLOTUS opted for one of her go-to American designers, Michael Kors. Obama paired her paisley-print short-sleeve dress with sensible black pointed flats. And while she may have been the best-dressed in the room, that's not to say she didn't have plenty of competition. Among the recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom were a few Hollywood heavy-hitters, including Barbra Streisand, Gloria Estefan, and Steven Spielberg.
