The First Lady of fashion has struck again. Michelle Obama looked absolutely radiant in a custom Jason Wu gown for a State Dinner thrown in honor of Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday night. The strapless midnight blue dress featured an elaborate floral jacquard pattern and asymmetrical draping and fit the ever-fashionable FLOTUS perfectly. A loose, natural hairstyle and a subtle nude lip finished her whimsical look.

Wu, who is Canadian, was an appropriate choice for the White House event, which celebrated Canada's culture and people. Yes, there was poutine. And yes, Ryan Reynolds was there.

Both President Obama and Trudeau opted for classic black tuxes, while the prime minister's wife, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, took a page out of her American counterpart's book, chose to make a statement in a fuchsia dress by Canadian designer Lucian Matis.

The lavish event marked the first time a U.S. president has hosted Canada's prime minister at a state dinner since 1997.
