Michelle Obama Embraces One of Spring's Hottest Trends: The Wide-Leg Pant
Always one to stand out in a crowd, Michelle Obama wows us time and time again with both her formal and everyday looks. For an appearance on NBC's Today this morning, we couldn't help but notice that she donned a pair of on-point wide-leg pants. One of our favorite trends of late, the wide-leg silhouette is a more comfortable (and just as chic) alternative to tight skinnies. Obama paired them with a multicolor checked sweater and metallic pumps, which completed her fresh but casual look.
Obama appeared on the show to talk with Jenna Bush Hager about the fourth anniversary of her Let’s Move initiative, which focuses on reducing childhood obesity. During their interview, the First Lady taught Bush Hager some signature FLOTUS dance moves and set the record straight on how she feels about unflattering pants. "I'm not a mom jeans kind of mom," Obama says. "You don't have to go there anymore." We have to admit, the wide-leg style suits her perfectly—no mom jeans required here.
