In an exclusive interview with ABC News, First Lady Melania Trump addressed the rumors of marital unrest that have long surrounded her marriage with President Donald Trump.

When asked whether her husband’s alleged infidelities have put a strain on her marriage, Melania told ABC’s Tom Llamas, “It is not concern or focus of mine. I’m a mother and first lady and I have much more important things to think about and do. I know people like to speculate and the media likes to speculate about our marriage.”

“It’s not always pleasant, of course,” she said of the media's prying eyes, “But I know what is right and what is wrong and what is true and not true.”

Llamas touched on one of Melania’s few public statements concerning her husband’s infidelity, a response given by Rudy Giuliani in reference to Trump’s alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels: “[the first lady] believes her husband, and she knows it's untrue.”

When asked whether that statement was accurate, Melania said, “I never talked to Mr. Giuliani,” noting that she doesn’t know why he made that statement. “You need to ask him,” she told Llamas.

Despite the drama surrounding Melania and Donald (and Stormy), the First Lady maintains that she and her husband are “fine.”

“It’s what the media speculates,” she said, “It’s gossip, it’s not always correct stuff.”
