Meghan Markle's latest outfit has us dreaming of cranberry sauce (our unabashed favorite holiday side dish), and perhaps a tall glass Merlot, or maybe a cherry pie ... (On the day before Thanksgiving, can you blame us for having food on the brain?)

The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance on Wednesday at the Hubb Community Kitchen in London to visit the women she worked alongside to create the Together: Our Community Cookbook back in September.

For the visit, the 37-year-old looked Thanksgiving-ready in a cozy cranberry-colored coat and matching shift dress with a velvet collar by Club Monaco. (The dress is still available online.) She kept the look simple, accessorizing with black ankle boots and black tights to ward off the cold.

The community cookbook was Markle’s first solo project as a royal, and, according to Kensington Palace, her visit this morning was to see the impact of the money raised.

People reports that the cookbook sold "more than 40,000 copies in U.K,” as well as even more internationally, and “raised $270,000 so far in the seven weeks since it went on sale." With the funds from the book, the community kitchen, which helps survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire, has been completely renovated, and is now able to stay open seven days a week, per Kensington Palace’s report.

The Duchess was given the opportunity to test out the new facility, trading in her stylish coat for an apron once inside, where she helped prepare 200 meals for the community.

Whether or not Meghan herself will celebrate Thanksgiving — an American holiday that the Brits sadly miss out on each year — has yet to be seen. If she doesn't, we'll eat some extra cranberry sauce in her honor.
