Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have only been in Australia for one day, but they’re already doing the most, like, ever.

Of course, the first day of their royal tour also coincided with the first day the universe was privy to the earth-shattering knowledge that MEGHAN IS PREGNANT. So they did what any expectant parents would, and they hopped off a 22-hour flight, met with some very even-keeled koalas, made a couple outfit changes, paid tribute to the late Princess Diana, and delivered a speech that both addressed their affinity for an entire continent and highlighted that yes, they are expecting a baby.

Like Meghan, Princess Diana’s first royal tour was in Australia, 35 years ago (as was baby Prince William’s).

In a subtle nod to their shared history, the Duchess of Sussex wore a pair of jewel-encrusted gold butterfly studs that once belonged to her husband’s late mother, as well as a matching bracelet.

In addition to the sentimental jewels (which she wore with her first outfit of the day as well), Markle donned a button-front army green Brandon Maxwell midi dress with a pleated skirt and a pair of crème-colored pumps. Meghan wore her dark hair in her signature style: a low bun with loose tendrils framing her face.

During their welcome reception, Harry thanked the people of Australia for having them, cracking a few sly jokes along the way. He concluded his speech with the most adorable mention of his and Meghan’s forthcoming bundle of joy, complete with an awkward pause as he tried to wipe the massive smile off his face and carry on. “We also couldn’t think of a better place to announce the, er, upcoming baby. Boy or girl. So thank you very much,” he said, leaving the podium and making a beeline straight for his expectant wife.

If this day doesn’t deserve its own Lifetime movie, I honestly don’t know what does.
