Their last round of engagements was a farewell tour of sorts.

It's been a bittersweet few days for fans of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. On the one hand, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been out and about in the U.K., giving royal fans their fix as they perform their final engagements as senior members of the royal family. On the other hand, they're performing their final engagements as official royals.

And on what's essentially been their farewell tour, Meghan and Harry have bid farewell to royal life with subtle and not-so-subtle shows of solidarity with each other. Purposeful or not, the sweet gestures speak to a united front as they take an unprecedented path.

Take, for example, their first joint public outing since they announced the news of their royal shakeup. Meghan and "just Harry," as he now prefers to be called, stepped out in color-coordinated blue as they made their way to the Endeavor Fund Awards.

During their second outing of the weekend, they took matching couples style to a whole new level when Meghan matched her red Safiyaa cape gown to Harry's Captain General uniform at the Mountbatten Music Festival.

Not to mention, they were spotted at the ceremony creating an entire new love language out of the simple act of hand-holding.

The sartorial gestures didn't end there. During Meghan's secret visit to the National Theatre last week, she wore a Sophie Lis pendant necklace with a quote: "Every day I love you more, more than yesterday less than tomorrow." Which, whether or not it was an homage to Harry, was romantic as hell.

And finally, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ended their farewell-to-royal-life tour with one more matching couple moment — albeit a subtle one. Meghan stunned in an emerald green dress, with a matching cape, bag and fascinator, while Harry matched her in a blue suit with a green lining.

Since part of their reasoning for stepping back as royals was to preserve some sort of privacy, it's likely we won't be seeing Meghan and Harry in this sort of public capacity again for a while. The couple is due to official exit royal life on March 31, and presumably decamp back to North America to figure out their next steps.
