Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Wore Masks and Held Hands As They Delivered Food in LA
The couple has been volunteering for the last week.
Since officially moving to Los Angeles in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been doing their part to help the community. At the apparent suggestion of Markle's mother, Doria Ragland (an LA resident herself), the couple has been hand delivering meals to those in need.
On Friday, they were at it again, spotted by several paparazzi holding hands as they stepped out of their cars. Meghan wore a black long sleeve shirt, green pants and white sneakers while Harry wore a gray polo. Of course, both of their faces were covered with masks per the CDC's recommendation.
On Monday morning, the couple sent out a letter saying that they would be cutting ties with several British tabloids saying that "the trust we all place in this much-needed industry is degraded." They also said that the decision is not to avoid criticism and that this would not apply to all media.
That said, life in Los Angeles, where paparazzi are the norm and celebrity culture reigns supreme might be a difficult transition for them and it remains to be seen how they will handle press opportunities in the future.
