Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Moving Out of Kensington Palace
It's official: The royal Fab Four are a thing of the past — at least when it comes to their living arrangements.
On Saturday, it was announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be moving out of Kensington Palace, where Harry's brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton currently reside with their three children: George, Charlotte, and Louis.
In 2019, the expectant parents will upgrade from their current two-bedroom home to Windsor Castle's 10-bedroom Frogmore Cottage, which has a nursery for their impending bundle of joy, a personal gym, and a yoga studio, according to The Sun. Not too shabby.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's new digs are close to the house where their evening wedding party was held and it's the same spot where they had their engagement photos taken last year. "Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate," says the Palace.
However, the cottage won't be ready until early 2019 — hopefully before the couple's baby is due. Currently, the house is divided into five units for the palace staff, so it will need some renovations to turn it back into a traditional family home.
A new home and a new baby. It looks like 2019 is shaping up to be the best year yet for the royals!
