It's obviously been a big week for Meghan Markle, between the pregnancy announcement and her first royal tour abroad to Australia with Prince Harry, and it's already hit a rather nostalgic note.

Markle appeared alongside her husband at the Invictus Games, which have special meaning to the couple. Just last year, Harry and Meghan made their first-ever public appearance together in Toronto for the event, and since then, much has changed.

For her return to the Games, Markle wore a navy Stella McCartney cape dress, a matching coat from Gillian Anderson for Winser of London, and nude Stuart Weitzman pointed-toe pumps.

She swept her hair up into her signature messy bun, which showed off her sapphire and diamond drop earrings.

In the year since the 2017 Invictus Games, they have gotten engaged, married, and now plan to welcome a child. Not bad for such a short amount of time.

Now that's how you make a grand return.
