We all thought Meghan Markle was going to step out for her first solo royal visit last week, but that was before her cheerleaders Prince Harry and Doria Ragland got the memo. On Tuesday though, it was all about Meghan, no family party crashers in sight.

The Duchess of Sussex went to the opening of the Oceania exhibit at the Royal Academy in London, and she did so while wearing a dress that included velvet, sheer panels, a leg slit, and a nod to her wedding gown. Impressive.

Markle wore a Givenchy number (bergdorfgoodman.com, $3,300), opting for the same design house that created her wedding dress.

Tuesday's look was almost anti-bridal wear though: All black with a touch of sex appeal? Why not?

Based on how confident she looks, we'd say this first trip solo is off to a great start.
