Meghan Markle Just Revealed Baby Archie Is on the Brink of Reaching a Major Milestone
He's growing up way too fast.
Baby Archie may not have joined his parents in the U.K. during their last round of royal engagements, but the 10-month-old has been top of mind for mom Meghan Markle.
Typically, updates on Archie are few and far between, but, this week, Meghan can't stop gushing about her and Harry's son. First, she told an attendee at Thursday's Endeavor Fund Awards that he's "into everything," and, the following afternoon, the duchess revealed that Archie is on the brink of reaching a major milestone.
During her surprise school visit in honor of International Women's Day, Meghan told 66-year-old Geraldine Dear — a woman whose actions inspired the creation of the Equal Pay Act — that Archie is starting to grow out of his crawling stage.
"I just had to ask her about the baby," Dear told The Daily Mail of her conversation with Meghan. "She said to me, 'He's exactly ten months today and he's started trying to walk." Meanwhile, in a separate chat with a student, the proud mom said that "having Archie changed my life" and discussed how much motherhood means to her.
Meghan and Harry will be reunited with Archie in Canada shortly. The couple's final event is said to be on Monday at the Commonwealth Day Westminster Abbey Service in London, where they will join the Queen and the Cambridges, as well as other royal family members for the first time since announcing their exit.
At the end of March, Meghan and Harry will have finished their duties as senior royals and will take a step back from the spotlight while raising Archie, so, for now, savor these adorable (albeit brief) baby updates.
