Marion Cotillard and Natalie Portman Make Pregnant Lady Stripes So Chic
We're sensing an emerging maternity style trend. Mother-to-be Marion Cotillard went bold in stripes on Tuesday night, not even a week after pregnant Natalie Portman wore the classic pattern in a silky dress by The Row (paired with $90 heels!) on the red carpet. It's clear that our favorite style stars are turning to the timeless print and they couldn't look better.
Cotillard donned a black and champagne-hued cropped jacket and copper, black, and silver sequin pencil skirt by iconic French fashion brand Rochas at a special screening of of Allied, hosted by the Cinema Society & Chandon in New York City. A modern ear cuff and crystal-embellished brooch accented the already-statement making look, while simple black, ankle-strap sandals anchored the ensemble.
The French beauty is known for playing around with beauty, thus she added a pop of color with green eyeliner and a gold hairclip gilding her tried-and-true chignon. It was absolutely a high-fashion affair as designer Valentino Garavani, fashion executive Fern Mallis, supermodel Alex Lundqvist joined Cotillard at the screening.

Allied hits theaters next Friday, so we know the Academy Award-winning actress has a few more stylish looks to come. Will there be more stripes in her and sartorial-loving Portman's ensembles in the future? Well, we'll just have to wait and see.
