Margot Robbie's Very Important Decision: Go to Sundance or Go to the NHL All-Star Game?
Sounds like quite the dilemma doesn’t it? Margot Robbie is a major (we’re talking MAJOR) fan of the New York Rangers hockey team, and this weekend is the NHL All-Star festivities in Columbus, Ohio. Because The Wolf of Wall Street actress often goes to the Madison Square Garden games when she’s in NYC, she got invited to go to the All-Star game, too. But she had to turn it down….
Why? As it turns out, only the Sundance Film Festival could make this superfan miss one of her favorite events in the year! Instead of being rinkside, she’s in Park City premiering her new super-buzzy post-apocalyptic flick Z for Zachariah, which co-stars Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor and Chris Pine. Luckily, Robbie gave herself a consolation prize for missing some good ol’ live hockey: A new Rangers onesie that’s has long-sleeves and a hood. “It’s so sick,” she told us inside our pop-up portrait studio. “Yes, I do have an obsession with the team. I love going to the games. I love the energy; it’s like nothing else. I get so overexcited, I literally almost cry.”
